All fender flares are NOT created equal.

MATERIAL:

High Quality King Fender Flares are made from 100% virgin ABS plastic with UV coatings. We do NOT use Polypropylene material. There is a reason the top brands in the industry use ABS plastic versus polypropylene; ABS durability exceeds polypropylene. "Polypropylene is liable to chain degradation from exposure to heat and UV radiation such as that present in sunlight... ABS combines the strength and rigidity of acrylonitrile and styrene polymers with the toughness of polybutadiene rubber, and it is considered superior for its hardness, gloss, & toughness properties" (reference wikipedia).

THICKNESS:
When compared to competitors, you will find King Fender Flares to be thicker in material (varies per application). This helps with King Fender Flares' durability and it helps its resistance to impact. Some competitor fenders are so thin that cracks develop in flares just during installation.

FITMENT:
Unlike some competitors, King Fender Flares have predrilled holes that require little to no drilling for installation. King Fender Flares guarantees its fitment on all its products.

FINISH:
King Fender Flares have applications available in SMOOTH and TEXTURE finishes. King Fender Flares prides itself on high quality finishes. Unlike some competitors, King Fender Flares' smooth finish is actually smooth. Competitors can have many imperfections and even warped fenders, which make paint preparations very difficult. Many imperfections can show though paint because body filler (bondo) does not adhere to plastic. The TEXTURE finish has a rougher surface than other competitors, providing a more rugged and tougher look.
